Ramin Salehi
Ramin was brought up in Barrow and has a long history and deep links within the community. He is married to Caroline and has three children and two grandchildren. He recently joined the leadership team at Spring Mount and wants to help people experience positive change through faith in Jesus. Ramin is committed to serving others, sharing the Gospel, and encouraging people to follow what God has planned for them. He has seen the power and grace of God, and because of this, he has a passion rooted in both the Word and the works of God.
Tim Baalham
Tim is living the dream, married to a Brazilian (Isabela) and dad to Megan.
He is a local lad and has worked in car sales and more recently for a Charitable Trust. Tim has been applying for funding bids to help with the Pavilion work.
Paul Hardingham
Treasurer
Paul is our hard working treasurer. He’s married to Alison, Dad to Josh and Richard and with an increasing number of Grandchildren.
He is a keen squash player, cyclist and runner, most notably on the Keswick to Barrow day, when having completed the 40 miles, he continues to walk other people in. Huge respect!
Iain S.
Iain joined the leadership team in July 2024, though having been a part of the Spring Mount family since relocating to Barrow in 2007. Married to Xiaoyu and with three adult children and a continually increasing number of grandchildren, he works in a senior management role overseeing shipbuilding projects mostly in the Far East. In 2015, Iain took on the project management of bringing the Pavilion from a shell to what it is now. He is a keen motorcyclist (weather dependent), and an avid guitarist, often seen supporting our worship team on a Sunday morning.
Shirley Waters
Administrator
Shirley keeps us all in order. She is a whizz at organising teams of people to clean and provide food. She is mischievous and has been an amazing part of our church for quite a while.
Shirley is a keen badminton player and great at shorthand.
Karen Palmer
Karen is a local Barrow lass. Loves the outdoors and all things sporty. Music. Theatre. Give it a go! Lived and worked in Birmingham for 40 plus years. Returned 'home' to Barrow in 2021.
